Camp Omunguindi is named after the Herero word for Shepherd's Tree, a tree that is found around the site. The Camp consists of three fully-equipped, luxury, semi-permanent tented units with a private deck, kitchen, and braai facilities. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Castle's swimming pool if there isn't a private function booked at the venue. Firewood is supplied for campfire evenings on the deck. Think glamping.

There are three units: two upstairs and one downstairs. The two upstairs units each have two ¾ beds, and the lower unit has three single beds. Between all units, Camp Omunguindi can sleep seven guests. (If extra beds are needed for children, extra mattresses with linens can be provided upon request at N$120 per mattress.)

A solar system provides 220V electricity to an energy-saving A+fridge and ultra energy-saving LED lights. Limited 220V power is available for guests' own appliances. Limited cellphone coverage is available at Camp Omunguindi.

Camp Omonguindi is located 3km from the Castle. The road to Omunguindi is not suitable for small cars or sedans. 4x4 vehicles are required.
